OZ C = AC J so you'll get the 25%.

H SWU upgrades on domestic portion of Int'l flights?

I should know this, but I couldn't find it with a search. :o For Int'l flights that allow SWU u/gs from H and B, are the domestic segments also upgradeable?

Yes, as long as they're connections to/from the international segment.

I'm not sure when this happened (so I could be way out of date on this) but the U booking class is now listed on the Aeroplan website as eligible for upgrade at time of booking to all destinations.

I also note that U fares are being offered YYZ-HKG, for example, which I had never seen before.

So it's no longer the case that U is discounted and non-upgradable for "all other destinations" as per the second or third post in this thread.

It is now J C | Y M U | B H ... for all destinations where the relevant fares are actually offered.

Will USAir ticket on AW metal post to AP?

If I buy a US Airways ticket on an America West plane can I use my Areoplan number and have it post to my AP account?

AFAIK the merger and integration is complete and America West does not exist as a separate entity so the answer should be YES. (There was a period up until earlier this year prior to the full integration when the answer was no).

Does AC offer N class fares on YYZ/YUL to CDG/FRA or just LHR?
Can't find any on aircanada.com.
Thanks!

According to this post it says for flights to the UK, K class get's you ZERO Aeroplan status miles.
So I went on AC.com and checked for flights from Calgary, Alberta to Aberdeen, Scotland, UK. I picked "Economy (lowest price) " it says nothing about Tourist fare... when im at my "Review flight details page" it shows im in K class, however it says
"Your ECONOMY fare includes
Cabin - Economy Class Cabin

Lounge Access - Not included

Air Canada Status Miles
for flying with us - 100% "

So, will I get 100% status?

*EDIT*
I also noticed it says the same thing for when I search for flights from SFO to LHR. K and N class, however says on second page that I get 100% Status miles.

Another question to ask- I've read through the fare rules and with N class USA-LHR flights, I can't find anything about not earning miles. Don't care about the status miles- but can you earn miles in N? Plan on depositing them into UA account.

Q and L fares

I'm planning to book a trip to Asia in Q & L fare classes and the conditions are below.

"Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Changes may incur penalties and/or increased fares and are subject to availability. Changes and cancellations must be done by calling Reservations at least 2 hours prior to departure.
Flights can only be used in sequence from the place of departure specified on the itinerary
Advance purchase, minimum/maximum stay, and other conditions may apply.
Read complete fare rules applicable to this fare."

If I were to cancel the trip prior to departure, can I at least get a credit for later use on AC since the rules states non-refundable?

Yes you will get a credit that must be used within 12 months of the initial booking (less a fee, which should be specified in the small print - likely ~$200).

Have to book a complicated itinerary on UA that involves two transborder segments on AC all in UA's S class. Does the transborder segment accumulate AE miles? I assume yes, but have heard some complain that their transborder flights on AC metal (but booked via UA) have posted as Tango rather than Tango Plus. Thanks!

Yes this does happen from time to time. Where are you flying to/from? The issue happens mostly on "tourist" routes such as to Florida. If it's to a hub like ORD or IAD, it should be T+.
