Thanks Empress for keeping this current -- I will delete mine now. ^

Just one minor correction that I see under Tango fares:
"These are booked in R, I, N, G, P, E, T booking class." I class should be removed and K? added |
I also note that C class earning has gone to same as J on N. American/Hawaii routes--that is good news!
|
So do I have this right?
Booked YOW-YYZ-VIE as AC flight numbers in C class
I get 500*1.5 YOW-YYZ as domestic C. What do I get for the international segment? Is it 100%, 125% (Austrian class-of-service) or 150%? Thanks, TM |

Thanks, TM The earning rules are according to the stock, regardless of codeshare metal which means that you bought Air Canada C the entire way and is entitled to 100% only (sorry). You do not get Austrian CoS because your ticket was not bought as Austrian stock. |
That's what I assumed, but the website suggests otherwise:
From aeroplan website: "Air Canada and certain airlines operate code-share flights, which allow both airlines to offer service to more countries throughout the world. Under such an agreement, several routes are served jointly by Air Canada and our code-share partners' aircraft. For Air Canada code-share flights operated by another Star Alliance airline, refer to the Aeroplan Miles section of the carrier operating the flight." TM |
Andrew what about a P fare for International routes, you have not listed that ? Is it a consolidator fare and what is the mileage accrual for that fare type?

I flew on AC codeshared flight on OS last year on discounted business class; I did receive the 25% COS bonus. The year before, I flew on a discounted business class ticket of Lufthansa, but flew on AC - no COS bonus.

I can not access the link.
