As of July 2022, MLLs appear to be largely back to normal operations.

Ordering to the table has been shut down, with most MLLs offering self-serve buffets similar to what was available pre-COVID.

Note that the EWR MLL has been permanently shut down as a result of changes/construction at EWR.

Showers
YYZ int - closed (Aug 12. They claimed all showers closed at YYZ but I was only at int.)
YVR tb - open
YVR int - open
YUL int - open

If you had only one choice of the following, what would it be?
1. Current craptastic Domestic MLL experiences due to the aforementioned and upthread issues; OR
2. Pre-pandemic Domestic MLL service including the two types of pickles in the cold food self-serve buffet?
What about:
3. Going back to self-service and cutting the hot food entirely, but keeping the current cold options

Making the MLLs quasi cafe style?
Maybe, but that wasn't one of the choices.
The choices are what was and what is, but not maybe or hope-be or dreamy.

I might grab a snack in an MLL, but I really go there for the "environment" (i.e. decent seating) and drinks.

So I'd much rather go back to pre-COVID.

If I want to eat, I'm going to a restaurant. Or eating on the plane.

Is the YYZ international lounge still only open after 11:30? Could one access the domestic lounge before that?

I cannot confirm or deny that I am currently eating a small bag of Miss Vickie's S&V . Definitely beats the chip choice in the YYZ Dom!

Charlie is working the bar at YVR int. I asked if they still had the cocktail menu. "Ohhh you remember!" and he gave it to me.

Quite a nice cocktail for the lower level here. I can't wait to visit upstairs.

Does that mean we won't be seeing him at YVR Dom?

You will, of course, find out the hours and last call?

Charlie was serving me in the YVR dom lounge earlier this evening ... and he's now in the international lounge ... so it seems that he's working both lounges for now

I think the website is correct for the hours. But I'll try to remember to verify. It definitely closes 0030 on Fridays. Or... Saturdays?

It closes in 28 minutes.

Is Charlie the energenic asian fellow? If it is, that guy shows a lot of pride in his work. Rare to see nowadays.
