LOL -- not laughing at your misfortune but it's good to know that I am not the only person who has done this! Fortunately, I was an SE at the time, so they were pretty good at fixing it for me without a penalty! -- catgirl
Sorry to burst your bubble, but that was a joke - Adam
Damn! And I thought I had someone to commiserate with. I typed in YYZ instead of YYC and didn't notice till a couple of days before the flight ... it ended well -- catgirl

Saturday morning hiking

I am planning to lead a hike before the 'official' 'do'. So far 3 of us are going, but I'm happy to show off our beautiful trails to as many as possible! We will go at the pace of the slowest person (possibly me!).

We will be hiking from Alyard farm, meeting there at 11am. If you need a ride, PM painintheuk. It will be a slow, relaxed pace, with snacks along the way!

We'll be done and back in plenty of time to check in and relax before the Do.

Please add your name below:
PainintheUK
catgirl (well ... maybe)
eigenvector

AND A BIG BIG THANKS TO LIGHTS_A_BLUR AND THE OTHERS WHO MADE THIS HAPPEN!!!

Will be traveling from the airport or Sidney to Victoria at about 4.00 to 4.30. Have a dodge van can hold 4 more passengers if any one needs a ride?

I don't know when I'll be coming in, but I'd definitely appreciate a ride.

I'll see if The_Phoenix179 wants to come too.

I might also be able to provide rides for a couple of PAX in my Leaf if traacs runs out of space.

Is there a cutoff established yet?

Have a work trip until the 4/5th and trying to see if I will back in time.

The most generous Do host around!

If AC would open up some X space on the direct YYC-YYJ-YYC so that I can use my damned AeroPlat partner ticket, I might come with the wife.

For anyone interested, there's also Helijet (helicopter) from Vancouver Harbour to Victoria Harbour. The price is not terribly different from Harbour Air. I've heard that depending on the weather, Harbour Air can get a little choppy whereas the helicopter tends to be a smooth ride.

http://helijet.com

I've updated the Wiki as well.

More importantly they can fly IFR when the floats are grounded (watered?) due to very low ceiling.

We are not even close to the capacity of the space yet. I will coordinate with Dorian about a cutoff for the party favours.

I'm in the backwoods of the DRC for another week with fleeting wifi. I will post the cutoff date when I'm home in February. In the meantime, keep RSVPing, the more the merrier!
