LOL -- not laughing at your misfortune but it's good to know that I am not the only person who has done this! Fortunately, I was an SE at the time, so they were pretty good at fixing it for me without a penalty! -- catgirl
Sorry to burst your bubble, but that was a joke - Adam
Damn! And I thought I had someone to commiserate with. I typed in YYZ instead of YYC and didn't notice till a couple of days before the flight ... it ended well -- catgirl

Saturday morning hiking

I am planning to lead a hike before the 'official' 'do'. So far 3 of us are going, but I'm happy to show off our beautiful trails to as many as possible! We will go at the pace of the slowest person (possibly me!).

We will be hiking from Alyard farm, meeting there at 11am. If you need a ride, PM painintheuk. It will be a slow, relaxed pace, with snacks along the way!

We'll be done and back in plenty of time to check in and relax before the Do.

Please add your name below:
PainintheUK
catgirl (well ... maybe)
eigenvector

AND A BIG BIG THANKS TO LIGHTS_A_BLUR AND THE OTHERS WHO MADE THIS HAPPEN!!!

Haha so there's NO reason to come early

I'll probably take you up on that. Need to book this over the phone with Amex tomorrow using my $200 credit, then cancel the card before the annual fee is charged.

So far we have 5 of the top 10 EYWv5 confirmed for this. I'd like to get that number up a bit higher and get a nice photo of all of us, sorted by rank. Send it to AC

I've almost convinced #8 to come, and I'll work on #10 over the next few days.

Wow. I just realized I'm the lowest ranked who's confirmed :/

Lowest ranked in the top10. And just for last year. I think that my 0 and 0 puts me a bit lower!

I'd be happy to lead a trail hike and/or run depending on what people are looking for. I just ran a 50k in cold pouring rain, so I'm not even that bothered about 'good' weather .

I'm not quite in shape for a run but I would be happy to join a hike. Good weather is all relative, on the island I consider that to be 'only moderate rain'.

YYT-YYR is my most traveled route, have to do it about 8 times a year. Need to visit my instructors office at the Labrador institute in May and found the extra segment cost no extra miles/money on top of the Victoria flight. Seemed like a perfect option

Wow. The last YVR-SFO on the 7th is at 1340. It actually lets me leave YYJ later by going YYJ-YVR-YYC-SFO.

I guess I'm catching a 1215 flight out of YYJ on Sunday.

Some time between last night and right now, AC posted a really cheap V fare for SFO-YYJ.

I decided to book both directions in Flex.
