SFO-YYZ CHML lunch.
Conversation went like this when I was handed a menu:
Me: Do you have my special meal?
FA: Oh, you ordered the Kosher meal?
Me: No, the child meal.
FA: .... OH ahahaha I was looking around for a seven year old. Why did you order it?
Me: I've never had it before.

Also, quite poor form for the FA to draw premature conclusions like that, just wow .... that lack of cultural sensitivity wow ... appalling!

My Korean friend ordered the Kosher meal just to change things up since he travels paid J often. SD/FAs gave him a weird look as if he wasn't supposed to eat Kosher food. Everyond founnd it amusing, but he got what he ordered in the end.

So just to summarize as i've noticed a trend.
VOML = AVML = NLML = Chickpea thing with rice.
Unfortunate, really. The NLML used to be chicken with tomato sauce, and now it's in line with the VOML / AVML. So much for variety.

My wife and I are flying YYZ-CDG in PE later this month. She might be on a lactose free diet at the time. Does anybody know what the NLML might be? It looks like the AVML might be an option too.
She's also allergic to strawberries so fruit plates can be a problem. She vowed never to order special meals after a bad experience on LH. She got a far worse meal every time, while the normal meals had no strawberries.

Does anyone have a photo other than cow's photo of the CHML?
ACYYZ/SD had mentioned something about chicken fingers? That sure would beat Cow's crappy CHML. I'm interested in trying a CHML. The SPML's lately have been horrific (that chickpea curry makes me vomit slightly now, so tired of it.)
