I edit mine.
On DOM flights I usually edit it with extreme prejudice. Just call me "Bohemian Scissorhands".

I did search the whole thread and read every reply with "child" in it.
A lot of talk is about child meals in J, are they the same as the ones in Y? Otherwise not many reference points for them in Y. Blanc pasta seems the common thread.
Traveling end of the month with my kids and ordered 3x child meals for my flight YYZ-ICN in Y and curious as to what to expect. Also, I guess yes, but does the child meal request gets through other airlines like Asiana and Thai?

Does anyone have a recent experience with a CHML in International J?
I am debating whether or not to request one for my kid for an upcoming flight. She would probably be fine with the standard menu but I am curious to see if AC offers anything interesting as part of the child meal.

Vegetarian Oriental - AC 16 - HKG-YYZ - February 2020
This soba noodle appetizer is my favourite of all the dishes included in the ex-HKG Vegetarian Oriental. Great flavour.
Did not try this.
Fresh and crisp.
The hot portion. Sambal or Sriracha sauce and a quick stir fry would improve this, so I just ate the baby bok choy.
Pre-Arrival meal
Approximately 1.25 pieces of feta cheese. Still, a nice salad.
I removed most of the mushrooms before heating. Decent flavour, veggies were crisp.

This was the meal from the second trip. Some items were different or missing. I'm never sure why.
As previously noted, I really enjoy this appetizer.
The purple gelatine square was missing this time, but bonus, the hot meal now had protein - tofu.
For pre-arrival into YVR, I much prefer a non-breakfast meal so the VOML works great.

That doesn't look half bad for Y service.
I'm guessing it's catered ex-TLV.

With service normalizing as COVID subsides, and AC's revamp of the SPML menu, this seems an ideal time to fork this thread (in response to recent member comments about large and long-running threads often making it difficult to find information).
