AC 35 YVR-BNE November 2017

Menu and some food photos

I decided I didn't want dinner at departure so I asked the crew if they could set aside my meal. I wan't sure when I would eat, so I thought it best to request the items I wanted in advance and have the tray set aside.
This was perfect.

Later on, I was hungry so I thought I'd try this. It had a nice scent.
Well, someone drowned my poor sablefish an as I posted upthread, it was a giant casserole of sodium. I could feel the salt sting. I had a couple of bites and sent it back to the kitchen. How sad as it was likely a nice meal in the test kitchen.

I did not eat any of the hot breakfast, but took photos.

I don't know that I'll ever understand why, what, where else on earth etc. that white sweet goop they serve between the potatoes and the omelette. Am I alone or do others share my bewilderment?

Nope. It's cheese and it plus the sausage are the main reasons I won't eat that breakfast. I know others like those items.

I am surprised that the hot snack options (noodles or dim sum) are gone.

The noodles are still on the Asian flights, not the ones to Australia, AFAIK.

Thanks for posting. Hard to read sideways, lol, but the salmon sounds interesting.
I wonder if the change is that it's December and possibly a new menu?

Lamb is always a well received option & considering the country of origin, it should be a good choice.

I didn't even realize it posted sideways. I'll have to fix it when we land in YVR .

It could definitely be the December rotation . Wines remain the same though .

I'll try to remember to take / add photos as well (in the proper orientation)
