AC stock down over 5% today; one of the only ones in my portfolio that traded negative today, as most were up on the positive news of the new NAFTA deal.

Anyone care to speculate what caused a single day drop of over 5% today? Seems a little odd, no?

A group of people clearly knew today something we will find out tomorrow. I’m sure they used the info wisely though, and didn’t for a moment consider trading based on advanced knowledge of something like say...quarterly results.

or simply Ryan Air
Many airlines are down "bigly" today after that news, despite new NAFTA deal cheering
Glad I sold most of my AC above $27-$28, will re-buy soon at this rate

Many tech names are -5% on no news either, while weed/MJ stocks go up on no news

Third quarter results don't come out until the end of the month (October 31).

I work for a large publicly traded company and don’t believe for even one second that there aren’t dozens of people within my corporation who have detailed knowledge of what the Q3 results will be when they become “public”.

I hope you are not suggesting that there is some sort of insider trading or similar...

Maybe Ben Smith knew what he was doing when he left?

BTW one hears his meeting with unions yesterday wnet quite well. Even though he spoke English and they answered in French. Or maybe that's why?

AC should be considering putting in an oil price hedge after this sudden drop in prices .
