By this metric, they must be doing great. I have failed to clear the last 6 in a row YVR-YYZ/YOW.

Yet you’re all still here.

A company doesn’t strive to provide terrible service but rather this becomes a by product of an overloaded system.

The fact there are so many complaints means there are high load factors and checking this over past few months I’ve seen most flights are practically full. Even with AC charging above market rates vs united/delta etc. they’re still getting decent loads.
You are gonna like today's Second quarter results....just in time for Sept 30 strike deadline for pilots...Pilots will have a lot of leverage. CEO was so excited he released the results ahead of the 8 AM EST published time

Anyone going to gamble a bit and buy the dip for a trade (1 to 3 month) ? Down from high of 26.04...$ 20.64 today.....main major headwind is the possible pilot strike action end of Sept.

3'rd Qtr results appear to be positive, improved over Q2 at least. Stock remains 38% lower than the 52 week high though. Anyone betting on a strong Q4 and stock rebound?

I got some AC just because I love airlines and flying and AC, despite its faults and shutting down cowtools (indirectly), still is a good airline

Look at USA $JETS ETF is crashing, so are JetBlue and Spirit and Hawaii and many airlines are falling to many-year lows, AC is relatively doing better

Picked up 2,000 shares at $16.25 for a short term trade......

Headwinds:
1) Fuel costs (crude oil prices, predict $100/Barrel by years end)
2) predicting future demand drop...possible recession starting in Q1 2024
3) pilot strike

Every flight and airport I have been to/on has been packed. There is still too much liquidity out there sloshing around for people to spend thanks to moron central banks decisions to keep ZIRP for too long. IMO until Crypto/blockchain.NFT collapses there will be strong consumer demand for travel, especially international.
