Luckily I managed to fly 4 segments before COVID and now I'm only 4,688 miles short of hitting Gold again, which means I could buy them. €375 is a lot but still worths it as it might not be easy to upgrade again. COVID changed lots of things and there is a good chance I won't need to fly as much, at least for the foreseeable future.
The question is, do I buy the tier miles now or should I wait until the last minute in case they give another extension? Or is there a chance they might change the tier buying rules eg lowering the max miles one can buy?

I'm mid march. There's a non-zero chance I'd have both my vaccine shots by then, but I'm about 5500 short at the moment. If I could just get a few extra months, or the chance to buy 6k... Knew I shouldn't have blown off that trip to phoenix...
