It was a pretty ok property, shame that it is out less villa options in Bali with Accor.

there are actually two Mercure in Pattaya:
- Mercure Pattaya Hotel on Second Road (close to MGallery Baraquda)
- Mercure Pattaya Ocean Resort between Beach Road and Second Road (close to an Ibis)

guess the former will be leaving

The Mercure near Baraquda Hotel will leave the Accor Brand and the Baraquda MGallery will leave Accor on June 1th too.

The website for the Ovation Rewards program mentions that the Oklahoma City 21C Museum Hotel will be leaving the program at the end of 2023 as it will no longer be branded as a 21C Museum Hotel. It also mentions that the Lexington and Nashville 21C museum hotels will also be leaving the program at the end of 2023 but does not mention that they will no longer be branded as 21C museum hotels, so I'm not sure if this means they are leaving the Accor program or the Ovation Rewards program.

I hope not. The Accor presence in the US is so minimal
I stayed only once in 21c (Cincinnati) and liked it. This brand has some potential.

Yes. I have stayed at the one in Nashville a couple of times and enjoyed it. The art was something a little different and the bar and restaurant were good too. The only Accor property in a busy Nashville market.

i would love to see 21c grow.
One brand I wouldnt miss if it leaves Accor is Mama Shelter. I really dont like the concept or maybe I am too formatted by the traditional hospitality
nrouxel and Arpoador like this.

surprising as it just joined in 2016...no Accor property left in the city center other than the Mercure Ocean ...

This, for me, is a loss for Accor

Ibis Red Hotel Zaragoza

This, was a great place to stay, and cheap. Good views and access to the center of town. The only other options now are the Budget ( not stayed ) and the Styles ( Stayed and did not like - very bad conversion and lift access parking - staff great though )

It is now a B and B hotel at similar prices and the same internal decoration and breakfast bar !

it seems the other way in Australia, or at least Sydney, where Accor is purchasing old Travelodges and turning them into Mercure properties.

Les Arcs Mercure 1800

Sadly this hotel seems to have left the group within the last month. While not quite a ski in and ski out the location was only 100 metres from the bottom of one of the ski lifts. The rooms were recently renovated in 2019 and so with the indoor pool and spa it was quite a comfortable hotel.

Now both La Plagne and Les arcs Mercures are gone. Is there any good ski in and ski out Accor hotels in France or Europe?

It seems our next ski trip we may need to try a different hotel chain or just go with an independent hotel.
