Novotel Taipei Taoyuan International Airport will become Hyatt Regency next year -- it is already showing in Hyatt development website

that's very bad...
I'm glad I tried the very good Novotel recently

i liked that one for location (hardly any hotel is so close to a sky train station) and the view from the club lounge

hotels changing brands is completely normal in particular in Bangkok; I would not be too concerned. Accor has many hotels for example in Bangkok and additional ones coming

Sofitel Essaouira Mogador Golf & Spa leaving Accor/Closing?

Is the Sofitel Essaouira leaving Accor or closing? It's impossible to book any room via Accor (neither booking.com) after May 26th 2025.
I've been ther just before Covid and was then already in an awful state.
Cracks in the floor, moisture spots everywhere, clogged pipes, water leaks when it rains,...
Some comments on Google/Tripadvisor suggest that the hotel would have been sold to an Egyptian owner.

We can only guess.... but I would guess Marriott has drop the fee to make it more competitive, so it incentivize some owners to make a change
