As this a query about TL hard product I'll relocate the thread to that forum for more input.

http://airlineroute.net/2013/11/06/tk-yyzyul-s14/

Istanbul – Montreal
TK035 IST1400 – 1720YUL 330 257
TK036 YUL2340 – 1600+1IST 330 257

I am assuming that A333 means the A330-300 thus the new lie flat?

The B739 seems to match the seat map; could it be this aircraft instead or are the review websites just out of date?

Thanks for any help.
Take the TK website seat map as the true picture.

Just took the flight 2 weeks ago and its indeed using the lie-flat seats. The Business Class cabin was only half-full on this new route.

The Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge is closed by the time this flight departs, so pax are directed to use the National Bank MasterCard Lounge which was packed and not relaxing at all.

Cool; so I guess the question is; whats a safer bet YYZ-IST on the 77W or YUL-IST? ANy chance of them subbing a 332?

I am also assuming that one does not need a visa for IST if transiting

(YUL-IST-CAI)?

Thanks!

Seat map review query (TK1344 EDI-IST)

Thanks. Any ideas where one might find a relevant seat review map for that aircraft?

Easiest way is to do a dummy booking on the thy.com sight. Continue the booking process until you get to the page where you need to put in your name etc. When you reach that page scroll down and near the bottom the itinerary will show and on the right hand side is a box marked 'select seats' or something like that. If you click on that, you'll get the aircraft plan showing where the Y class cabin starts, which seats are available etc. However, remember that you can get last minute a/c changes.

A332 is out of question. YUL is an A333 destination, whereas YYZ is served by 777

Why does the seatguru.com website show both the A333 and A332 as having 159* seats in J? Are the A333's not 180* like the 77W's?

All A330s have the new J class seats with lie flat seating.

Additonally, 3 A332 also have lie flat seating, these are ex 9w aircraft

TK A321 Business class - What version - New C

Hi,

I am about to book a flight in C from IST to ARN but I am a bit confused what kind of business class seat they are offering. In some flights there are 3 rows and on some flights there are 5 rows. Is there anyway to determine of you get the real C seat or the Economy seat with a blocked middle seat?

Neither Seatguru or THY.Com has the 5 rows C section?

Will fly on the 13th of august.

Appreciate thoughts.

BR,
J

Flying IST-CPH soon in J.

Turkish shows equipment as A321 but seat map is 4 rows (A,B,E,F) which doesn't match anything on seatguru.

I am confused. Anyone knows what will actually be flying?

New seat configuration Turkish A330-200??? And what about the A340?

Flying 2nd August KTM-IST on TK727. ExpertFlyer shows this as an A330-200, so angled seats, right? The Turkish office in Kathmandu insists that the seats will be fully lie flat. Is this true? Also that there are only 3 rows? I am in seat 5J, which they say is the second row in business class. Please explain.

I am than flying BOS-IST on 16 August on a TK A340. What about those seats? Have the A340s been upgraded also? IFE? Lie flats?

Thanks for your replies

I flew this route a year ago. Keep in mind TK do last minute aircraft swaps (esp narrow bodies) in order to maximise utilisation but that was either an A320 or A321 with 3 rows of 2-2 proper big recliner J seats.

By the way if you think there's no IFE - it's a swing-out TV located in the side of the seat. It took me the entire flight to realise this.
