The initial baggage ticket was NRT-DOH-BRU and then QR added a second at NRT for BRU-LHR-EDI. I checked at BRU to confirm that the baggage made it onto the BRU-LHR flight. I ended up with no bag at EDI but I don't think it had anything to do with the interlining, just a regular screw-up. There was no re-checking involved.

Due to personal circumstances, I was forced to cancel this trip. I used a recent schedule change to cancel my ticket and accept a full refund. Updated the Wiki. Have full you all!

Checked in for the outbound (from LHR now) and no sign of mobile boarding passes - is that right?

Kindly keep things friendly and civil, as per Flyertalk Rules.

Failure to do so, may result in posters being banned from Flyertalk for a time.

Or, put another way, don't be sarky on the sake thread.

To a certain extend I tend to agree with the ethics committee on this.

To go out of your way to get something which has already been denied to you (either rightly or wrongly) does show a degree of contempt, which, when considered with the very good nature of the offer in place, seems unruly. Anyway, not for me to comment, being such a freeloader myself in this instance. In life people will take what they can.

Just to get the thread back on a happy track, my QR2 flight from LHR to DOH in November just updated from an A359 to a B77W with the seat map showing it as having the new QSuite!

As I said in a previous post, this fare is the gift that keeps on giving!

Through the UK office. Initially they tried to get me to fly from Copenhagen and then Brussels. I explained I was Uk based and they swapped me to LHR.

I lucked out as 2 of my flights are with the new suites.

My Amsterdam flight time had changed by 7 hours.

Just had a MyFlightsApp update for my flights in October, showing a slight time change:

QR194 BRU-DOH 1800-0110+1 is now departing 1730-0050+1 - so a 30min earlier departure

QR193 DOH-BRU 0825-1405 is now 0825-1415 - so a ten minute later than planned, arrival.

None of these changes are enough to constitute a Major Change.

I've had the same flight time change and I don't mind it.

Is a 6 hour layover enough time to go and see Doha by night? is it worth doing?

I remember reading about a user doing a self-made tour of Doha by night. Can't find it now though...

Having just spent 6 hours in the Al Mourjan lounge overnight yesterday, I'm in no hurry to do the same again. If you have the energy, take advantage of whatever QR offers are going to get you into the city, if only for a change of scenery. Alternatively, use the opportunity (and the sleep pods, screaming kids below permitting) to get yourself on Tokyo time ahead of your arrival.

IMO six hours might be a bit light. By the time you get out of the airport, then have to be back to go through security and immigration, add in transportation time.... Wouldn't be worth it from my perspective.
