I've passed on from updating the list and giddyforpoints offered to take over (via PM). Then there was a wiki. Do we need someone specific to maintain the list now that we have a wiki?

Cheers

This is correct. As an alternative to a wiki -- which does require 90 days of membership and 90 posts -- a member can start a thread or post for rating all Kimptons and that member will have edit rights over the post(s). The negative of going this route, instead of the wiki route, are at least two: wikis can be collapsed, ordinary posts cannot; and, as giddyforpoints posted, anyone with 90 posts/90 days of membership can edit a wiki, but only the member or moderators can edit a post.

Just updated the wiki...staying at the Schofield in Cleveland this weekend. When I went to book, I think around mid-end Feb, they were accepting bookings beginning April 1 - which was perfect, because that's the night I need a Cleveland hotel.

Was excited to be amoung the first there...but checked again a little while ago, and they opened earlier....on around March 10 they were taking bookings for that evening.

Not sure people will miss this property, as it seemed to be the least favorite in NYC, but 70 Park Avenue will exit Kimpton June 15:

Can't say I'm surprised, but I will miss it. It's the closest property to our company's office on 32nd/Park, so I'd have the occasional Sunday or Thursday night stay there if the Grand Hyatt had an event pushing up prices. It's getting tougher and tougher to make Inner Circle if the reasonably priced properties keep on leaving.

I'm much further along on Hyatt re-qualification (17 of 25 stays done by 6/30) than Kimpton (5 of 14). With probably 3 more work stays in NYC this year, i was hoping to have 2 be Kimptons. Now its going to get a lot tougher, after already losing the SF properties. Muse is usually too expensive, ink48 is on the wrong side of Manhattan for either our office or LaGuardia, so that leaves the Eventi as the only realistic option.

Another lost property? Scottsdale

I never had the opportunity to stay there. Such a shame that Kimpton keeps losing properties. At least they're adding more properties on a regular basis.
