As indicated in the thread title, this deal is now dead.
How do I manage my itinerary/check my booking/select seats?
Note that the displayed receipt will be incorrect ($5 higher than actual) owing to a programming error. The taxes/fees shown includes the original $5 WF booking fee. Do not worry about this; it does not change the amount you are actually billed. How many miles will I earn on United from my flight?

Here's the UA master page listing airline partners. If you click on a partner logo, you'll see a page containing a chart showing the yield for flights taken on partner metal. (It even says explicitly that it's the metal that counts: "The award miles accrued on codeshare flights are based on the operating carrier and their equivalent fare class.")

Quite possibly! There is a meetup thread on the CommunityBuzz forum. Post if you would like to participate.

So by all accounts it looks like this is dead (or am I wrong?) but in an effort to keep it alive, I have found a method to get past the 'flight confirmation' page that provides the error and get the payment page to display, although by doing so I create a new error. With some experimentation, maybe we can figure out a new way through?
So if you force an error in the flight confirmation page (i.e. invalid country code) it'll then take you to the payment page (which you can't get to otherwise). Only problem is that you then have a invalid country code error which doesn't allow you to proceed. Seems like the type of thing that may be overcome with an incognito mode/2 browser trick of some sort... my connection (on vacation) is too crappy to do much experimentation to figure something out, but what I described above may help in pointing people in the right direction.

I think they are fixing everything now. One second I had a flight from SFO to Cairo for about $500, when I clicked to continue it magically doubled in price and no former prices were available.

Booked EWR MXP at 3:40 EST
Just ticketed for me at 9:30 EST
Same for a different EWR-MXP later in the summer
Used a Chase Sapphire for the first and amex plat for the second.
No pending charges on my amex though.
still waiting on two other EWR-MXP's
two BOS-DXB's
and one more IAD-BRU

"Whatcha talking about Willis?!"
I think this is all part of Smiesek's plan. He's not going to just devalue the customers, MP program and quality of service, he's devaluing the cost of tickets as well, so it all balances out .

Well, can plan later. Just see if it gets ticket first.
I have bad experience with Wideroe. I am just warning you guys. Do not get your hopes up. As a Swede IŽve been disappointed at WF many times regarding these fares.
Never had one out of at least 5 honored.

Got my confirmation email from Wideroe at 6:56pm EST, but United is only holding my ticket until Midnight EST. Doubt that is enough time to ticket, given the long queue.
