As indicated in the thread title, this deal is now dead.

How do I manage my itinerary/check my booking/select seats?

Note that the displayed receipt will be incorrect ($5 higher than actual) owing to a programming error. The taxes/fees shown includes the original $5 WF booking fee. Do not worry about this; it does not change the amount you are actually billed.
How many miles will I earn on United from my flight?
Here's the UA master page listing airline partners. If you click on a partner logo, you'll see a page containing a chart showing the yield for flights taken on partner metal. (It even says explicitly that it's the metal that counts: "The award miles accrued on codeshare flights are based on the operating carrier and their equivalent fare class.")

MileagePlus (UA) earning charts for
Will I do better if I credit to another *A carrier instead?
Maybe.

Miles&More (LH, LX,...) earning charts for
  • United Airlines (UA) (K, L, T fares earn 50%, 25% for flights in 2014)
  • Lufthansa (LH) (K, L, T fares earn 50% for TATL flights in 2013, 25% for TATL flights in 2014)
  • Swiss (LX) (K, L, T fares earn 50% for TATL flights in 2013, 25% for TATL flights in 2014)
  • Air Canada (AC) (K, L, T fares earn 50% for TATL flights in 2013, 25% for TATL flights in 2014)

Here's the master list of partner earning charts for Aegean (A3) and here's the list for Turkish Airlines (TK).
Are there other FlyerTalk members flying when I am?
Quite possibly! There is a meetup thread on the CommunityBuzz forum. Post if you would like to participate.

Question, who is getting hit with the losses here, UA or wideroe? Because I've had issues with booking agencies cancelling tickets over $50 losses in correct fares... I cant imagine an agency taking this big of a hit without attempting to recover.

SAS could be still involved or related with Wideroe

If you look at your confirming emails from Wideroe, they are coming from htttp://www.wias.no once you click on that website, SAS is clearly mentioned in a blurb at the bottom: Widerøe Internet AS (WIAS) is fully owned by Widerøe Airline and SAS Group. If there is a problem with these tickets, that could be significant in getting the DOT involved.

I kinda feel bad fro Wideroe as a programmer. I mean somebody is probably losing their job over this. We should throw them some business for European flights in the future if they honor this. Its like a $4 booking fee or something.

or The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci, before going to the Opera. I would consider the cathedral too, and Come Lake is very close.

Wideroe's now down, apparently -- or at least from Dubai.

wideroe.no er stengt noen timer i natt av tekniske årsaker
wideroe.no is closed some hours due to technical reasons

I am not sure this is Wideroe's fault.

Their booking interface is standard Amadeus booking interface - it was not designed by Wideroe.

Somewhere something went wrong and YQ was forgotten.

Mine messes up when trying to put in the phone number... using 001 (country code) will get me to the credit card screen, but will error at the end. Using one of the selections for the country code (ie. Denmark) will give me an error prior to the credit card screen.

What are you using for phone numbers now?
I think we all used +1 in the first box then the number with no dashes in the second.

I used '1' not '+1'. 001 did not work.
