Same for me during my 3 stays (week-end days)

Hotel restaurant L'Alcyone just got a Michelin star. Who has eaten there and can tell me if they are open midday? If so, do they have a prix fixe menu and for how much?

Wow, that must be new. It wasn't there a few months ago. Les Fenętres was the main restaurant but now on their website I see its called a brasserie. And it was fairly expensive so I'm going to say that for L'Alcyone that if you have to ask for the price, you can't afford it.

I'm there in April. Reckon €139 is good value. Perhaps we can afford it after all!^

Still a bit disappointing to pay such a fee to use the sauna, steam room, etc.
I've got an award stay booked here for October and would intend to use the sauna.

In reality can anyone confirm if the charge is 60EUR per person or are they lenient with this? My status is IHG Plat (no AMB though).

Email and ask, I never used the sauna myself but the pool was free. What a bloody maze to get there though!

Email them, I think that Plat gets 1 hr comp use or discounted use. I didn't have time to use it while I was there but its really nice inside.

I've used the sauna, steam and pool several times and it is indeed quite nice. Maybe the best such in France? I'm RA so no charge at all, but I don't know about other status levels.

I've just booked 3 nights at the IC Marseille through Virtuoso - the rate is only slightly higher than the 'member discount rate' bookable on IHG.com but it's worth it for the benefits -

guaranteed upgrade at booking (Deluxe to Deluxe Harbour)
daily buffet breakfast for two
complimentary WiFi
100€ F&B credit to be used in Restaurant Les Fenetres
bottle of water, local fruit plate, and biscuits
early check-in/late check-out
bottle of champagne (with 3 night stay)

Looking forward to our stay based on the good reviews above.

One night we'll eat at Les Fenetres to use our credit, another we'll eat at Chez Fonfon - any suggestions for the 3rd night? Possibly North African.

For a couple of euros more, you could go to Le Petit-Nice, a 3 star Michelin restaurant. I would definitely spend the few more Euros to enjoy Gérald Passédat's food

Petit Nice

I second. Since Olivier Roellinger closed his 3 stars restaurant in Cancale,
Le Petit Nice is now probably the best seafood place in France.
If you can afford it, don't miss it.

I'm not sure if it's just me, because I complained about the quality of the wine previously, but instead of the usual rosé wine they give to Ambassadors and RA's, this time I got a nice bottle of artisanal Pastis. ^
