With the recent fire sale on PDX flights I'm now inbound on AS137 and outbound on AS140. Gave up MVPG guest upgrades but saved $288 and I'm probably #1 on upgrade list as of now.

Its a short flight. Id take the savings as well over F. Especially if new F.

Am I the only one leaving DUT on the 4th? Maybe I should set up an EF alert on the 3rd?

I added a section to the Wiki a few weeks ago to add Arrivals in ANC so We know when people are heading up north.

I still vote for Denali for Pre-Do

Looks like Marine Highway schedule is not workable for me. Kodiak to Dutch Harbor - departs 9/26. Dutch Harbor to Kodiak - departs 9/12. Plus no sightseeing between stops. Cold Bay is the longest stop at 3 hours. Also almost a full week in Dutch harbor sound like way too much

My award was already messed up once with the last schedule change. I guess they will mess it up again.

Are you sure you're not talking about the 2000 SAAB automobile?

Just paperwork issues IIRC, getting FAA certification for airline operations. A defunct airline, ATA's regional partner Chicago Express (who operated the Saab 340) wanted them as well. This was 10 years ago so I don't specifically remember what the problem was, but Penair was also dealing with it. I'll try to find a source as I'm curious how it was resolved as well. Probably just time and money, it costs to get approval to fly a new type in the US.

The planes themselves are supposedly great. Slightly faster than a Q400, should be pretty comfortable to fly in.
