Basic Entry Information:
If you have never used a Priority Pass lounge click HERE to read how it works.

philemer's PP card arrived 20 days following approval of CSR. Others have reported an even quicker delivery. Yes, it comes via USPS.
Authorized User will receive their own PP card.

The PP Select membership offered through the CSR now includes digital pass access. Sign up in advance here: https://www.prioritypass.com/chasedmc
Note: Some lounges may not accept the digital pass. Make sure to check the PP lounge directory details for the specific lounge you plan on visiting.

To sign up for Priority Pass Select, as soon as the account shows up online:
1. Click on Go To Ultimate Rewards.
2. Scroll down to the very bottom left and click on "Card Benefits"
3. Activate Membership to request card.
4. Card can't be expedited. Some members have reported success in charging the lounge access to their CSR account and requesting a refund from Customer Service. However, others have reported that the lounge access was refunded via the travel credit.

Thanks
Yes, you can enter lounge. The lounge doesn't know/care how you paid for the airline. And, the lounge doesn't know/care that the Chase is paying your way in.

B, look up the lounge policy on the priority pass website. They may impose restrictions(boarding pass required, no children, Intl departures only etc), but you don't need to buy flights with csr to get lounge benefits

C, you need to manually activate priority pass benefit on chase benefits page, and get a card in mail within 2 weeks. You need card to enter lounge, can't use phone app, no exceptions typically

D, it's still a toss up on whether guests are free. Need someone to get pass physically (see C) and try

E, all this info is available on the csr thread and on multiple blogs

F, you might want to keep your csp and not downgrade yet (trip delay/cancellation is on your csp, might be void when it downgrade)

Z, ... nope, no more priority pass info

Thanks for the detailed response. Looked at a few threads, didn't find a clear answer regarding having to pay with the CSR. Thanks for clarifying that.

Sorry for opening it in a new thread. Will know better next time.

No, probably not. My AF won't come up until July so I'll get a full year of AA lounge access and the 1.6 cpp redemptions on AA. My travel patterns rarely keep me in one place for 4 nights, so that's not much benefit.

From what I've read, the CSR Priority Pass is supposedly the same as the Ritz card which allows free guests.

I'll be keeping the Platinum for the other benefits the CSR lacks, namely Hilton & SPG Gold status, as well as Centurion and Delta lounge access (which I use quite often).

PP Select does not allow free guests. The number of guests that is free to the cardholder is determined by the agreement between who is issuing the PP access (Chase/Citi/Amex/etc) and Priority Pass.

I have PP Select cards from both Amex and Citi, and soon Chase, and they all have their own guest fee rules.

Priority Pass and ticket purchase are not related one bit at all.

Can we get Priority Pass info before PP card arrives?

Got my Reserve card today - AU thanks to my mom's generosity, getting it for my benefit.

I activated Priority Pass and called to make sure, and he seemed to think that both were going to be shipped in the mail - when I asked for the membership #'s, he didn't know and said that only I would have access to that, try calling Priority Pass? I called them and they said to ask Chase.

Has anyone received any info on Priority Pass membership for accessing the lounge before receiving the Priority Pass card in the mail. Takes 2-3 weeks apparently.

Thanks!

I may have missed this on another thread so I will ask again just for urgency. After obtaining the CSR, do you need to register for access to the priority pass lounges or simply show your card upon entry?

You need to active your PP, then you'll get a PP card in the mail. Takes about 2-3 weeks according to rumors.

Log into your chase account. Choose your Reserve card. From the 'Things you can do' pull down select 'Card Benifits' then click on Active below the PriorityPass section.

I have Priority Pass w/Amex Plat--assuming the pass offered under my CSR is the same exact thing correct? I'm single & travel alone 99.9% of the time, so I don't care about guest access/etc.

almost the same... I believe you can use priority pass phone app on Amex Plat

CSR requires physical card, no phone app allowed. Some Chase reps offer to reimburse two visits if you haven't received card in mail

otherwise, it's the same

well, I believe your credit report only shows month... so you should wait until end of month tot ry?

(if it's a chase card, they can probably see the day as well, so this should be safe)

u can do this as soon as your card is listed on your chase account page. go to csr ultimate rewards site, go to explore page, at bottom left of page under about rewards see card benefits click on it, then find and click on priority pass. u will see it get activated.

Which specific card did you ask Chase about?
and
Which card is the rep referring to or answering?

They do allow free guests into the lounges on Priority Pass. This was confirmed when ChaseSupport tweeted a response to many people's questions about lounge access https://twitter.com/Drofcredit/statu...95328127807488
