Remember that what matters is the coding of the flight (AF), not the operator.

This goes for BE as well as A5 and any other airline, ST or not ST.
I'm afraid you are wrong here. For code-shares outside the alliance, some (but not always all) of the benefits are granted for the elite members of the FFP of the code-share airline, but not for the other FFP of the code-share alliance members.
Let's take the example of a BE-operated MAN-CDG flight purchased under AF code : FB elite+ members will get lounge access in MAN for sure and non-guaranteed (hit and miss) priority check-in and boarding. A DL Skymiles Elite+ member will get nothing. Same for a EY-operated flight booked under AZ code : FB Elite+ will get nothing.

I trust your experience. BE check in in BHX is a mess for FB Plats so ...

There are always exceptions, but my general rule of thumb is that miles are not credited on FFPs of an alliance member coded r flight operated by a non-alliance member and no status benefits.

To be precise, let's say A5-coded flights, as AF-coded flights will credit even if they are branded as HOP! Air France (Navette! flights for example)

Someone should tell the elite desk:

" Thank you for your email to Delta regarding mileage credit on your
SkyMiles account.

On reviewing your travel documents we have found flights ineligible for
mileage credit based on our contractual agreements. Air France Flight
AF1618 and AF1519 on October 19th, to Germany was operated by Hop
Airlines which is ineligible for mileage credit.

Sincerely,

Niki

Very strange answer and not consistent with credits automatically done by the system. I had many Hop flights, coded as AF, credited to my skymiles account. The last one being last week (that one was Cityjet coded as AF), this can't even be a new rule.

They are plainly wrong here because those flights are indeed HOP-operated but under a franchise agreement (CDG-FRA-CDG). It's not a code-share. So they are technically AF flights and not A5 flights. So you could fight if you wish.

Please fight, at least to report on that forum!
Just to be sure, was that a MiNi fare?

I could be wrong as the situation keeps changing. But I have never seen an A5 code on the Navette between ORY and NCE, although they are sometimes branded as HOP! Air France Navette on departure screens. There is only an AF code.

Indeed, displaying HOP! Air France but only with AF code as of now.
But the A5 code has never made any sense from the passenger standpoint, anyways.

Delta gave me full Skymile credit for the HOP! flights without asking for it and without further explanation.
