Now about the HKG-SGN promotion, any chance you can post all the details you may have (is it targeted? is there a page on ual.com listing/describing the promotion). Part of the reason I ask has to do with the language that reminds me of the Early Bird offer of earlier this year:

BTW, I usually do the updates to this thread from home in the evenings. Due to the size of the FT post window (small) and the quantity of code in the promotion posts (large), I have a text sidefile where I do all the adding/editing... That file resides at home

It is clearly not targeted and also non-combinable.

Combinable & Non-combinable

I have a few questions re: combinable & non-combinable.

If I book a B-class ticket to LHR end-Nov that nets 4000 BIS miles, with MPD D74 (5/10/15k bonus miles and EQMs to CDG and LHR - this offer is non-combinable) I think I'll get 11000 EQMs (150% for B-class + 5000). Question here is will I get class-of-service EQM bonus AND the offer's EQM bonus?

If I then sign up for MPW 124 (double EQMs for $150) - and this offer is combinable - will I get another 4000 EQMs, totalling 15000 EQMs? Or does a non-combinable offer mean no other offers (even combinable ones) can be applied?

Any insight will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the great thread!

150% EQMs for a B fare is not a promotion, it's a published benefit, so you don't have to worry about combinability...

Now, MPD D74 is non-combinable, whereas MPW 124 is combinable. Generally this has meant (see post #1 above):

non-combinable + combinable = OK (goodies from both offers)

However, as MPW 124 states:

Offer is combinable with other combinable offers,

a couple of calls to MP before plunking down $150 would be in order (I would leave out any mention of the B fare so as not to unnecessarily confuse the agent).

And a quick call to UA/MP it was. MPW 124: "Offer is combinable with other combinable offers." And since MPD D74 is non-combinable, plan foiled

Also, I was told that in the case whereby a non-combinable and a combinable offer is in question, the first one takes precedence. The agent advised me not to pay the $150 since I had already signed up for MPD D74.
