By the way, since the Hemispheres magazines are changed at least once per month (one hopes!), you normally won't see a "signature" any more than a month old. (In case you hadn't managed to figure that out.)

Thanks for the information, who would have thought magazines are switched on a monthly basis?

It was a little odd for a moment, because ptony signed in on the same date, flight ... and seat that I was in. So either they caught the morning flight to PHX or they were elsewhere in the F cabin ...

Yep, that's me. I was on BDL-IAD earlier. You must have had the continuation IAD-PHX.

Suggestion
I don't fly United much and am new to FT, but I came across this thread and was equally amused/impressed/intrigued.
If I may make a suggestion: instead of www.flyertalk.com, maybe you could get a tinyurl.com pointing to this thread or ask the admins of FT to maybe give you a shortcut (like UA.flyertalk.com or something) pointing to this thread. That might intrigue non-FT and/or non-UA forum members.

I added a few entries last week and will do so this week on my DEN-SEA flights. I will be flying DEN-LEX next week so I am sure to add more. I still have not spotted anyone else.

OH, you said "artistically enhancing?" Not "defacing?"

Am I bad for doing this?

Haven't seen any FT signatures ... yet ...
I've dutifully signed the copy on every flight for months, now. Even on Skywest. Have yet to see another FT signature, though. One of these days ...
I was lucky enough to have our very own FLYUA for my flight attendant upstairs on a 744 SFOORD not long ago. Best Bloody Mary in the sky!
