Seatguru and UA have different maps and I assume the latter is correct.
In 1A, are there two lavs directly in front of you and are you going to hear flushing all night? Do J passengers have access to them?
In 1K, is the galley that "noisy" per seatguru? I have no idea if that section also caters J.
Just looking for a couple opinions to make an informed selection.
Thanks!

The galley only serves first class (and the cockpit). Business class is served from the mid-cabin galley. It's a mixed bag as to where the crew will hang out, but that could be a bit noisy depending on the crew. Since the crew rest is near the business class galley, I'd expect them to hangout around there, but (IME) it's really crew dependent.
If you're concerned about noise why not take a seat in row 2 as its further from the galley and lav.

Oh, 1K without a doubt. Most private corner of the plane. 2K is the pilot crew rest, you won't be bothered by anyone. Take that one!

Seatguru is invariably out of date and is not a reliable source of information.

On UA's 777s and 747s (unless you're in a window seat on the upper deck), it's even worse. I book my tickets last minute, which means when booking United (which I no longer do for international flights) I invariably get middle seats. So not only was there inadequate storage, but I had to disturb someone to get to the overhead compartment.
If you're paying $7-$9k for a seat, the seat should have storage. Even United's 7-abreast business class had more storage than what's currently available.

New 767-300 UAL International Exit Row 20A Seat
Seat Guru shows that 20A does not recline. Why would the second row of exit seats not recline? Anyone have any experience on 767-300 ORD-LHR Seat 20A on United?
