Whenever I apply PP (to waitlist) my seat assignments in E reset, known behavior?

No. Your seat will only reset if there is an aircraft change with different seat configuration. It might just be a coincidence.

Would be quite the coincidence haha. Been dropping/reapplying on a segment 3-4 times to see the buy up price and it happens every time (on both segments of the itinerary even when applying PP to only 1).

Same thing happened to me.

Didn't happen when I did it via the website (previous times was on the app).

edit: Nevermind, showed same seats on the site but when looking at app seats had shifted again!

Trying to burn through my PPs. In Feb I was lucky with my trip to BKK and getting upgrades from TYO. Now I have to go to SIN in June. The LH thread makes it seem that upgrades are a plenty, even if there's no upgrade space right now. I know that summer is a crazy time though, would FRA/MUC-SIN actually have any chance of clearing?

It seems NH is more stingy with upgrades, but is that assessment wrong? Could I clear an upgrade from the US or Europe to TYO? Or should I just try my luck again on UA via TYO. I know with the recent schedule cuts that will be less likely to clear.

I know that SFO-SIN is basically out of the question.

Unfortunately it seems there is no award space on LH or NH to, well, anywhere in Asia otherwise I'd feel more confident booking.

Wanted to double check understanding.

I have a TATL flight that I booked with two stops since it cleared immediately into PZ on TATL.

Now, one stop options have PZ availability. My corporate office has purchased this, so not able to cancel the full ticket and rebook. Instead, I’d be looking to update the ticket via a standard change.

Has anyone had experience for whether PP and APD (UK) would be redeposited? Or even better, just carry over the upgrade since I’m moving from confirmed PZ space to another flight with PZ space? Or is this a case of losing the PP if I proceeded with the change?

If you cancel the flight with PP cleared, your PPs will be returned immediately. I did this two days ago.

You will get the +P back on changing. If you did this on UA's site, it will show that explicitly. Not sure what your corporate TA situation is, but the +P should be refunded in any case. I'm also not sure why APD is a question here, but all taxes and fare difference should refunded/credited (FFC) or charged as appropriate. Once you change to new flight, you can apply your +P again to clear into the open PZ immediately.

Where can I see past PlusPoints activity?

United seems to have moved or hidden previous Pluspoints activity. I can't see any record of when and how I applied, used, or was credited PlusPoints. Is it me? Thanks

You have to click "View full account activities" after logging onto your account. Then, two columns: "mileage" and "Pluspoints" appear.

Question on using plus points

I know that plus points can't be used on award flights but saw that economy award flights can be upgraded to premium plus using cash. After that upgrade is it possible to apply plus points to be on the waitlist for business or does it still have the award flight restriction? Thanks in advance!

Some have had that be successful as the cash PremPlus upgrade books as R. It is probably not what UA indented and not known if this will continue in the future or if UA will continue to ignore the issue.
