It appears the new seat cover program for 752 aircraft is now complete. N67134 finally exited SAT today after repeated attempts that must have been mechanical issues. It looks like N19136 will exit MIA with new seat covers and 2 sUA 752 should have seat covers after maint visits.

FYI, time to start tracking the upgrade of wifi on the p.s. 752 fleet. UA is pulling off the ATG4 kit from Gogo and installing the Viasat Ka-band service. I wrote about the news yesterday afternoon: https://paxex.aero/2019/04/uniteds-c...-wifi-upgrade/.

Thanks SBM12:
Researched ps752 exits from maint bases and think its N589UA, which exited MIA 3/21. However, that unit and all others still show gogo in Flight amenities portion of Flight Status. Amenities can take a while to update information.

Well, if you're gonna be that guy, then so will I. It's Daylight saving time (I assume the missing "t" was a typo, but saving should not be plural in any event).

It's a pain to type on a tablet using a virtual keyboard ..... guess I just gave up after the third correction

Hopefully no typos this time - typing on a laptop with a real, actually pretty nice keyboard for a laptop, and Firefox catches *most* typos as I write

And I'm NOT writing a press release for one of the largest airlines in the world

46 day mod. Hot on the heels after N782UA’s 45 day mod. If they can keep that rate up the last IPTE should be in by September. And XMN could concentrate on the 787s.

I was surprised to learn it, too and could not confirm the conversion from the amenities data but did confirm from both Viasat and United so I know it really is happening.

N78001 scheduled for test hop 4/17 as UA2701.

Flight Radar 24 lists a "test hop" on 4/9 that lasted 12 minutes (UA1234, strange # for a test hop). So almost certainly canceled during taxi or an error in FR24.

I've seen numerous UA1234 flights shown on FR24 and they always don't seem to be complete flights. I think all are where normally a test hop would be expected.

I love UA1234. I've taken it at least 10 times over the last few years. (It's usually one of the last two flights of the day from IAH to AUS).
