How long are then 772 conversions taking roughly per plane?

sUA 772 Polaris - not counting STC aircraft (91 days) 16 conversions at XMN so far average 57.1 days - long 75, shortest 45

sCO 772 Polaris - STC aircraft at HKG took 67 days, expect next out about 4/7, but just guessing on 52 days.

Thanks! Any reason you suspect the sCO are a bit faster?

We'll find out. sCO STC was a bit faster, but maybe UA learned something after the sUA units, even though they are being done at different stations. Just guessing at this point. Unsure, but maybe the sCO units need less maint done on them - a plus might be that they are being handled at the same HKG facility for routine heavy maint.

UA has ferried aircraft around, so that by the end of the day they will be at:
9 in HOU: 501/502/506/507/508/509/511/513/514
2 in LAX: 503/504
3 in IAH: 505/510/512
Is there a third party maintenance base at HOU that works on Max planes? SW ferried some there too.

39M: don't know about facilities, but would expect UA would use their ramp and possibly find more ramp space for short term storage. Unknown if any work would be done at this point.

752:
N587UA exited SAT 2764/16Mar with new seat covers

77W:
N2332U entered SFO 889/15Mr, most likely for PE
N2846U sked to exit SFO 917/17Mar with PE

789:
N26966 entered XMN maint 2759/17Mar

There's a facility UA uses for 737 work at HOU, I believe it is third party. Some of the MAX introduction work was down there as have a lot of the GUM conversions. It makes sense to stage as many of the MAX9s as possible at HOU and IAH so that once the software (or physical modification) fixes are finalized and certified, they can be rolled out as quickly as possible. Hopefully any physical changes don't require a ferry flight back to Renton to implement.

763:
N670UA sked to enter HKG 2786/24Mar, probable Polaris/PE mod
N686UA sked to enter HKG 2715/24Mar, Polaris/PE mod plus whatever work is needed to become a UA aircraft.

N684UA (former HA) might be close after an STC to exit HKG (my guess is Y seats came off N666UA and N677UA). If so, then 2 units were in active mod (N684UA/N677UA), and 2 mod units will now become N677UA and N670UA. I expect N686UA will wait for seats from N670UA and the next 763 2 class arriving in HKG after N677UA is ready (3 or more weeks away).
So, I would expect N670UA would be in for Polaris/PE along with maint.

772:
N228UA sked to exit AMA paint 2707/24Mar

78X:
N12006 delayed IAD Induction by a day to 2707/24Mar

I missed why they would move the Y seats. Why are they doing that?

those Y seats are coming from the 763s that are having their config changed to the 99Y low density LHR config.

On the Wiki, the 75A and 76N can be deleted as they no longer exist as modifications have been completed.

Are they retrofitting any of the 77Gs with Polaris seats in the next few months? I have a few domestic flights in first this year on 777-200s and would love to avoid the 2-4-2 whenever possible.
