Not only is the 1+2 arrangement far superior on the 145, the windows are better placed, the seats themselves are much more comfortable.
I'd rather have the ERJ too, but I also want a reliable operation.

It would be interesting, but it's probably a boring one like operational. From what I've heard, Air Wisconsin has been good in that area. ExpressJet, not so much.

No one really cares about "comfort". It's about making money. The name of the game now is to find the public's breaking point and get as close to that as possible.

Good to know that "no one" at United cares about customer comfort.

Considering the airplanes aren't that old, many expect that the 764 will get retrofitted, although most likely later in the process.

This reminds me of the days of old when SMI/J didn't think there was anything more UA needed to do to remain competitive.

It's the high density PMUA planes that need to be retrofitted first.

sCO planes are dated, but at least I don't feel like I am in a sardine can @:-)

UD on 747? I'm all over that, but that is sadly going away

First one usually takes a lot longer than following planes. Of course there is also a period while the plane flies before the next conversion is started.

UA already has configuration up:

Wonder if those seats way back in coach really have extra legroom

Having just flown AA with no status in second to last row, I hated to wait for those in front of me to deplane (especially kettles who clogged up the isle while there was an empty isle in front of them as they were so slow). It would take even longer on 763

And yes, AA 738 has power ports for EVERY seat, not two ports for three seats

Aren't those the new seats designated for crew rest (on augmented crew flights)? If so then yes, they have extra legroom, but they generally will be very hard to get

Believe you are right - someone posted about that a while back.

On the app 40A/B and 41A/B are showing as E+, so they will be for sale if not needed for crew rest on a particular flight.
