Let's use this thread to report actually delivery of the packets and comments about the kit contents.
Please no "nothing yet" posts (at least until we get to mid-January (15 Jan 2017 is be more specific) when that mean there is an issue.
In the past, UA has used mystatus.united.com to report shipment status of the kits.

Requalified sometime back in August/September. Just received my 1K kit yesterday.

I qualified for 1K for the first time on 12/17 and got my Platinum kit today... go figure. GPUs and RPUs finally cleared today as well.

I requalified for plat in early november and RPUs posted immediately. Today, I received ... a premier 1K membership package. The card, the luggage tags, the drink vouchers. Alas, no GPU posting and online it still says plat.
So while it's rare that the card itself ever comes into play (int'l *A lounge access...) i guess I'll be misrepresenting myself

FWIW I just checked the mystatus site and it shows the following:
Qualified for 1K (first time) back on 11/14 and never received a 1k package...should I wait it out or proactively ask for the goods?

I met requirements for 1k in September 2016. Received my 1k package by mail yesterday.

I requalified for 1K in like April. Hoping for GS...I don't see that message and am not home until Monday to see if I got a kit. Any other 1Ks see this message?

Hit 1K for the first time in late October, received my kit yesterday. Website never acknowledged they were sending it. Waiting to see if UA will send the yellow bag handle that has been previously given to 1K n GS elites.

Have been Platinum all year, then went over the 1K threshold on Nov 25. Got 1K status on Nov 27 (got GPU/RPU that day). No 1K kit to date.
Like you, I also have no 1K membership card that's "valid thru January 31st 2018." Other than the digital one on the app, of course.
But if I read correctly upstream, even if one was received it would be valid thru Jan 2018, so I wouldn't get two packets--so no double drink coupons.

It's now after 12:00am CST on 12/31 and my mystatus page has just changed. No longer shows progress indicators, just:
No indication of a GS invite.
