Let's use this thread to report actually delivery of the packets and comments about the kit contents.
Please no "nothing yet" posts (at least until we get to mid-January (15 Jan 2017 is be more specific) when that mean there is an issue.
In the past, UA has used mystatus.united.com to report shipment status of the kits.

Receipt of 2016 MileagePlus Elite Card/Packets
Receipt of 2015 MileagePlus Elite Card/Packets
Receipt of 2014 MileagePlus Elite Card/Packets

Have you received you 2017 Premier Kit-Post when you qualified and have received it
Qualified for 1K on 9/14. Received my 1K kit with card valid through 1/2018 today. Came with 10 drink vouchers also valid through 1/31/18. Included two plastic luggage tags.

This will be an interesting year for me; first year that I've dropped in status (Plat to Gold) other than my single year as a 1K. So at what point does UA give up on me and send a Gold kit, or will they wait until all possible chance to accomplish Plat have passed (post-1/1/17)?

Qualified for Gold around September 1st. Received the 2017 kit about a month later in early October. The luggage tags are the same little ones from this year. Maybe 1Ks get bigger ones.

They didn't last year. I'm curious because I am no longer Premier 1K and luggage tags are (IMO) an effective gauge across airlines about how much they care about elites!!!

Not sure about anyone else, I have never recieved anything until the year summary was done , not sure what the point would be given the the status runs through the end of January and if you requal you have the tags etc already.

I don't even get that email that I seem to remember getting when I qualified for 1K through the year.
