5/15 UA 926 SFO-FRA cx due to aircraft maintenance.
5/16 UA 902 FRA-SFO cx as a result, 927 operating with the aircraft inbound from SFO as 903.

Not sure if this is still trickle-down from the problems mid-week w/ the 744's in PVG and NRT or whether this is a new airframe w/ problems. Looks like 926 usually operates using an aircraft that has arrived from Europe earlier in the afternoon, which suggests the latter.

and FCO again today, must be a mess at FCO right now! Just a twist, today UA43 broke

UA43 FCO-IAD 764 cancelled due to aircraft maintenance

also, last nights EWR-BOM UA48 772 returned to gate and departed 3 hrs late due to aircraft maintenance

Passengers may have been rebooked and with a short delay no EC261 compensation would be due. However United will not pay it even if due as they will claim force majeure or unforseeable circumstances. I am still trying to get compensation for a six hour delay in April due to unavailability of aircraft.

5/17 UA 837 SFO-NRT (N119UA) arrived 2 hours 46 minutes late due to aircraft maintenance.

5/18 UA 139 NRT-DEN (N26910) returned to gate and eventually cancelled due to aircraft maintenance.
Looks like they will run an extra sector on 5/19 UA 2101 NRT-DEN (N27908) 1645 - 1245. N26910 is scheduled to operate the normally scheduled UA 138 on 5/19.

The mobile app is showing N27908 to operate UA 139 DEN-NRT on 5/19. Not yet showing as delayed even though N27908 will not arrive until 1245 while UA 139 departs at 1230.

5/19 UA 930 SFO-LHR cancelled for aircraft maintenance. Another 777 down and out. So whatever the return was supposed to be for that aircraft is also out of luck.

as a result today's LHR-IAD UA919 cancelled due to aircraft maintenance

also today's GRU-EWR UA30 764 cancelled due to incompetence

also another 788 maintenance cancellation today on UA1126; game changer

I'm new here, but can you expand on this:
GRU-EWR UA30 764 cancelled due to incompetence

I have someone in the UA31 flight EWR-GRU, but it landed in Port of Spain and United provides no details about it.

I think UA 1126 feeds UA 139 DEN-NRT which is probably the reason 5/19 UA 139 DEN-NRT is now showing a maintenance delay of 90 minutes. Looks like they will turn N27908 from UA 2101 NRT-DEN.

UA364 YYT-EWR cancelled for the 2nd day in a row due to 'severe weather'. Can someone tell me what UA is smoking and where we have severe weather on the East Coast

yup. Note the 2xxx flight number on that. The extra section from the maintenance cancellation the other day.
This is the season where airlines run smooth operations before it gets rougher with the summer T-storm season ... looks like UA is starting from a pathetically low level.
