Does EU compensation only apply to the original flight that was cancelled or would a person be able to make an additional claim if the re-scheduled flight was also cancelled?
Passengers may have been rebooked and with a short delay no EC261 compensation would be due. However United will not pay it even if due as they will claim force majeure or unforseeable circumstances. I am still trying to get compensation for a six hour delay in April due to unavailability of aircraft.
