There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with telling others on here that an agent was rude, but if everyone did it for every incident we would be inundated with this superfluous stuff.
Perhaps one or two calls out of ten times I get someone that doesn't have the foggiest idea what they are talking about. My answer, politely thank them and HUACA. Why get into a BIG discussion about what a 1K's rights are, and then get pissed about it? Again, thinking that UA Insider is going to immediately jump on this and do an investigation, and then straighten out ALL agents that are probably sitting at home and were trained the pmCO way of handling things is ludicrous.
I don't care if it's a man from Mars, or a woman from Venus, if they can't/won't help me with my situation, I move on.
.....and like other seasoned posters, I can usually tell in about 15/20 seconds into the call if I'm going to have to tell the next agent my itin #.
Battling this airline as of late is a work in progress and if I were to get pissed at every employee I'd be buying Prilosec by the truck loads.

Whenever an agent tries to tell me something that I know is completely wrong I just say thanks and goodbye. In this case there was really nothing for you to argue about since you knew you could get satisfaction within 24 hours... save yourself the aggravation next time and just hang up.

I shouldn't admit this, but I've occasionally decided to HUCA just based on how the agent answers the call....
"I stereotype because it's faster."

Permission to inject a bit of humor in this thread, but... Sometimes, depending on the day I have had at CLE, I like to pretend to saddle up on a horse and gallop down the concourse at Hopkins just to relieve stress for both agents and passengers. Just wanting to bring a smile to the faces of FT. (example- Made a three year old cheer up for his parents after a long delayed filled day and CLE was home for them... Helped them out unknowingly until they told me that he was a restless young lad going through a long day. I like making my passengers smile, young and old.)

no "actual" difference? When I fly sUA TATL, my water glass is continually filled during the flight. When I fly sCO TATL, after meal service I'm given a bottle of water and the FA's disappear for hours.

I'd rather have the bottle than the tap water sloshing all over me when we hit light turbulence.
