[RUMOR] SYD going PMCO 777 in 2014?
747 movement to Victorville?
Or perhaps a new 744 hublet in EWR to serve India and HKG?
787 SFO to China or Europe is fine. Keep it off NRT (shakes fist).

So if there is 744 movement out of SFO where are they going?
What about the 'synergies' of placing the entire fleet there?
I must say it is really strange NOT to see any UA 747s at O'Hare.
Everything that comes out of the UA PR dept seems like complete bunk. Gives the casual observer that no one knows @United what the bleep is going on with this airline. DL seems to have a fleet strategy. AA has a strategy. UA? WHO KNOWS?!? Let's make it up as we go!

I think returning a nonstop to MEL is appealing, which is why I asked about the 787 scenario earlier in the thread. One of the questions is how many people continue on to MEL, and if it isn't a 787's worth, can they capture some of what the other airlines carry, considering QF has an A380 flying LAX-MEL.
I'm just not sure if the 788 is fit to fly MEL-LAX/SFO non-stop, perhaps 789 or even the A350.

If this does play out the 744 will be gone from LAX.
I wonder if we are going to see more 3 class aircraft make their way to EWR.
