Q: What are the odds I will get a CPU?
A: Sadly, much lower than you probably want to believe. There seems to be slightly better odds on typical vacation routes--e.g., CUN, MCO, FLL, etc.

Q: I checked in exactly at T-24, and my name was #1 on the upgrade list. A few hours later, I'm suddenly #10 on the list! What gives?
A: This post gives a good explanation why. Basically, those with higher upgrade priority checked-in after you, and they be placed above you on the upgrade list. The harsh reality is that you only have priority only above non-rev travelers.

Q: I'm Marriott Titanium Elite, how do I get my Premier Silver status?
A: Go to https://mrrewardsplus.com/en_US/

Q: If I requalify as a Marriott Titanium Elite, do I have to renew my complimentary Premier Silver status every year?
A: Yes

Q: How can I get a United MileagePlus Presidential Plus Card?
A: Sorry, it is no longer offered.

Q: I qualified for Premier Silver this year (2016). The expiration date on the app says 1/31/2017. Shouldn't it be 1/31/2018?
A: The expiration date will automatically update to 2018 in 2017.

Well, you will need to fly 2000 such segments to achieve the million miller status, which will take nearly three years if one takes two segments per day.

Posting the email might help but not aware of a general expansion

Perhaps it was this, United Silver Status - Experiences/Q&A where AC, LH -- UA's JV partners provide a few improvements (Benefits: Priority check-in (AC, LH Group),boarding-AC Zone3)for UA Silvers??

yes, there are some additional benefits for silvers on AC and LH-group carriers.

without going back to look, I believe its priority check in/boarding on AC, and C class check in on LH-group.

Yes, was announced in the "united for Business" email today:

Star Silver benefits have expanded
For Star Alliance Silver members, new benefits are available on select airlines.
Explore Premier benefits

But following the link did not make it at all clear what the exact nature of the new benefits were.

I probably missed the memo on this or don't know how the timing works, but if you're UA Silver for 2024 do you still get complimentary Marriott Silver for 2024? Last year when I qualified as UA Premier Silver I obtained Marriott Silver, however, the other day I got kicked down to member. I have not yet re-qualified for UA Silver this year.
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Should be Marriott Gold (though gold at Marriott went through a big benefits downgrade a couple of years ago).

Marriott status should stick as long as your UA status didn’t actually drop. My understanding is Marriott has had some issues with account status being dropped - but this is not specific to status matched with UA but an issue even with those earning Marriott status via Marriott. Wondering if it’s related to that.

I have vague memories of this program in the past matching silver to silver at Marriott but also noticed it not in the wording now.

I dropped from UA plat to silver in Feb and still have Marriott gold, knock on wood. I only had 12 nights in 2023.

Thanks for confirming this. Looks like I still may be able to get 10 nights in at the end of this year in order to qualify for Bonvoy Silver.
