May 2020
We’re making some changes to the Million Miler program. Starting May 4, 2020, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be giving bonus miles for each Million Miler level achieved above 1 million miles. As a result, we will be retiring our gift site and ask that if you wish to select a gift you do so by May 31, 2020. If no gift is selected, we will deposit bonus miles into your account to show our appreciation for your continued loyalty.

4mm was a choice of a few things, one being a B&O top of the line bluetooth headset. nothing enticed me; i often turn down such things; but my wife wanted the headset. she lost it a couple of weeks ago; left it on the plane transferring in DEN. so it goes.

Congratulations! I know it was back in January, but I hope the glow hasn't worn off yet.

I got the Alpha 2 bag when I reached 2MM earlier this year. I LOVE IT. Very light; just the right size for shorter trips; had my initials put on it (in pink!) at the local Tumi store.

I chose the bag as well. I have to admit I was disappointed that they no longer come with a 2 million miler logo on it

It's for this reason that my Tumi laptop bag is still in its plastic wrap, unused!

I just passed the 2MM mark. I was offered one of the following gifts:
  • Amazon Fire 7" 8GB and Wenger Mainline 16" ...
  • Garmin watch
  • Kate Spade Bag
  • Sonos Music Player
  • Thule Carry-on 22"
  • Tumi Laptop Brief

So I believe the list of gifts has slightly changed.

About to pass 4 MM

Sitting at 3,994,000 miles and will cross 4 million milestone in next week or two.

Curious if I can expect any specific gift, other than Lifetime GS?

Also, does anyone know how many 4 million milers are in the system?

The WIKI doesn't list 4MM gifts. Only 2MM and 3MM.

I don't recall receiving anything for my 4MM.

I may have received an email to choose something, but again I don't recall.

(Recurring theme here, n'est-ce pas?)

I do remember passing the 4MM on ORD-LHR and nobody saying a thing about it before the flight or upon landing at LHR, but when I returned to ORD a week later, there was actually an agent who stopped me near immigration (they all know me by sight) to specifically hand me a congratulations card from corporate.

I suspect that the United systems don't signal a change until after you go over the milestone. And as it takes a few days for miles to post...

They had told me when I crossed over 1 MM that they did get a heads-up on the manifest about these sorts of things. But then again, that was pre-merger, and perhaps not any longer... (Nothing said when crossing 2 MM). But then again, the FA didn't even say my name when she was taking the meal order, and I know they have at least that these days!

Crossed 2 MM miles several weeks ago. Received some drink coupons, the tiny plastic magnetic frame with the little paper card stating 2 MM miler, a new 1K card with the 2 MM miler logo, and two Platinum luggage tags (for lifetime Platinum, I guess since I am presently a 1K) in a clever little display box. No email or info in the box about picking a gift. Just tried the link on this thread and I am indeed eligible to receive a gift. Picked the roller bag. Thanks FlyerTalk! I would not have known about the gift otherwise.

I got a hand written note from the pilot with his business card and he came out to shake my hand pre-flight. I would say more than adequate recognition. It was the flight that put me over 2MM so they did anticipate it.
