We’re making some changes to the Million Miler program. Starting May 4, 2020, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be giving bonus miles for each Million Miler level achieved above 1 million miles. As a result, we will be retiring our gift site and ask that if you wish to select a gift you do so by May 31, 2020. If no gift is selected, we will deposit bonus miles into your account to show our appreciation for your continued loyalty.
I just got off the phone with MP. Here is the new program:
1. Gift site will be closed on June 1, 2020
2. Selections need to be made by May 31, 2020
3. Those who achieved MM status before April 2, 2020 can select gift.
4. Those achieving status as of April 3, 2020 must take miles.
5. The new Gift Tiers are:
- 1M LT miles gets (I forgot to ask)
- 2M LT miles gets 35,000 MP miles
- 3M LT miles gets 35,000 MP miles
- 4M LT miles gets 40,000 MP miles
- 5M LT miles gets 50,000 MP miles

Update on the Tumi 2MM bag...
I received mine, and it had no United MM insignia. I wrote MP (snail mail), and I got an email back yesterday with a phone number to call.
I called, and they told me they stopped putting the United logo on.
Oh well!
Because of my DYKWIA vanity, I may try to create my own!

Has United always given gifts for surpassing MM marks? I don't recall getting one for the first or second mil. I am just shy of 3MM.

2nd Million: Nothing. No acknowledgement at all. Had to call and remind them The gift was a Tiffany sterling silver business card case engraved with 2 million mile status.
3rd Million: Hit 3mm on 22 March. No gift email yet.

At least for the past decade, 1MM have not gotten "gifts" -- may be a certificate, a small plaque, ... and there were the bonus SWUs/CR-1s replaced now with the companion status match,

To be honest, I would have preferred a lifetime membership to the UC (RCC) instead of the Tumi computer bag or the gifts selection currently available to 2MM members.
But, I absolutely want the Companion Status Matching to be part of the MM program.

Does the company still offer gifts for 3MM status?
