We’re making some changes to the Million Miler program. Starting May 4, 2020, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be giving bonus miles for each Million Miler level achieved above 1 million miles. As a result, we will be retiring our gift site and ask that if you wish to select a gift you do so by May 31, 2020. If no gift is selected, we will deposit bonus miles into your account to show our appreciation for your continued loyalty.
I just got off the phone with MP. Here is the new program:
1. Gift site will be closed on June 1, 2020
2. Selections need to be made by May 31, 2020
3. Those who achieved MM status before April 2, 2020 can select gift.
4. Those achieving status as of April 3, 2020 must take miles.
5. The new Gift Tiers are:
- 1M LT miles gets (I forgot to ask)
- 2M LT miles gets 35,000 MP miles
- 3M LT miles gets 35,000 MP miles
- 4M LT miles gets 40,000 MP miles
- 5M LT miles gets 50,000 MP miles

The eligible folks were notified in their annual kit. If you were not notified, perhaps because you were not eligible.

My 1K, two million miler package was just dropped off by Fedex in the PDX area.

As I have not seen my Million Miler Kit yet so don't know if I am eligible and I have had that link for a while, that is not the issue. I am more upset that they direct you to a page when they deny you then say nothing on that page as to why you are denied or what allows you to be granted the gift. And the page does say Million Miler, it does not say 2 Million Miler or 3 Million Miler or 4 Million Miler, it says Million Miler. And reading some of the posts it looks like there are different levels of gifts from the people who successfully got the gift.

It ended up being a toss-up between this and the ipod and while one can never have too many wine accouterments, two ipods would be one too many. And the decanter looks pretty cool and the stemware will last until my housekeeper breaks it by putting it into the dishwasher.
I was kind of hoping for the choice of the SWUs that I would have gotten under the previous program. Alas, none.

Would have preferred the SWUs over the IPOD as well.
I took the engraved IPod a few years ago when I crossed 2MM.
For those that haven't received anything, it was given very shortly after you crossed each milestone, and there are different gifts offered for each level.
The coolest gift that I ever received, was about 6 years ago, after the second year in a row that I flew 300K miles each year and took my son-in-law to the DEN flight center and we flew a A320 in the simulator. Also took home all kinds of goodies.
Fly 300K in one year now and you get a Ménage à trois with Hal & Alex!

I'm not an Apple fan (except for their stock!), but I chose the engraved iPod today, as the site is now active again. Will give it to some neighbor's kid as a nice gift perhaps (or more likely just keep it to try Facetime with the one friend who uses this, as the program doesn't run on any other architecture :-)

http://www.unitedthanksamillion.com just became active for me. Anybody picked a gift yet. Tempted by the ipod touch.
None of the 2MM gifts were really great for us, so I went with the decanter and glasses. Given the quality of wine we drink, the former isn't necessary but is still nice. As for the latter, Mr. Butterfingers here seems to have an occasional need for new wine glasses now and then.
