I actually saw a post from UAInsider yesterday. I was beginning to wonder if UAInsider still existed.

^^ SHARES isn't the cause of every problem customers experience with United post 3/3, but that system isn't helping.

leaving tonight for rio

tried checking in a few times without success same as son who is accompanying me. you go through the whole data entry exercise and then the thing cannot spit out a boarding pass. called again and was patiently told yes there are systems problems and yes they can't do anything about them and that i can wait until i get to the airport.

I think it's fair to say it's the root cause of the majority of them though

Lifetime miles counter still way off. I don't think any post 3/3 flight was added.
Where is the FFM or Spent counter for GS?

I bought a ticket SEA-IAD-JFK-IAD-SEA on April 1. The outbound booked in K and the return in T. The next day, Ms. SeattleFed bought her ticket--same outbound flights but her return is the next week from BOS. Her outbound booked in T and her return in L. My ticket was $331; hers was $371.

I am a 1K MM; she is 1K courtesy of my status.

Today, at the opening of the 96-hour 1K window, she received an upgrade on SEA-IAD. I did not.

I assume that this is because her outbound was in T while mine was in K. If this is correct, it is ridiculous.

Why would this be ridiculous? If T > K, it sounds like the system is working as it should be.

Just noticed that 1 of my 4 BPs from yesterday has my old MP # on it. This was the UA metal, UA-issued BP to boot. The others (BD metal, BD-issued) all have my new-style MP # (aka OP #) on them.

I am still missing flight mile credit from 4/5. When I try to submit the missing credit online, it says that I cannot because I already received credit for the ticket , which I did for the return segment on 4/10. I am sure hoping that the magical sweep I have heard of for tomorrow will fix things.

Same exact problem here. Three out of four segments have posted and trying to submit is hopeless because "Credit for this ticket number has already been applied to the MileagePlus account." You'd almost think they have no notion of multiple segments under a single ticket number.

+2 - same issue yet again. I was the *lucky* one out of our party of 5 not to have all 4 segments post on our trip.

For UA flights are people generally seeing mileage post within the stated 72 hours?

Just had two experiences with PMUA crews learning Shares at IAD. One at the A gates with rebooking, while slow, the PMCO agent helped the GA figure out everything.

At the Customer Service Desk, the agent had her cheat sheet, but was quick at getting everything, however she didn't know the program for getting hotels.

All in all however a good experience, and it shows that all is calming down.

My experience, too.

Still waiting on a segment from 3/8, on UAE/Colgan. Filed Missing Miles report 3 weeks ago, no response. Talked to CS agent last Monday, promised it would get credited within 24 hours. Still nothing.
