6/8 UA 456 LAX-LAS 319 - It was on until I popped my head into the cockpit upon boarding to ask if it would be on. The boss then turned it off. I've learned my lesson!

About halfway through the flight, somewhere over Ohio, ATC asked if anyone saw anything. Our pilot chimed in saying, yeah, he saw a big flash. Probably a meteorite. I talked with him after the flight -- he said it was really bright. Never heard that before!

15 June UA 105 DEN-LAS. B738 Aircraft 3521. Not only no Ch. 9, no nothing. One of a few 2010 delivered planes with non-standard seats and no IFE.
