I'm checking a specific date early next week a couple times a day. I've seen both ORD-FRA and DFW-FRA in F. Availability for each lasted a day or so. I've seen nothing from DEN, LAX, or SFO.

It looks like all LH flights are gone from UA.com at the moment. Maybe they're actually fixing the problems?

Better that than blocking LH First. FWIW, lots of UA First avails.

I can confirm this. Have two C award tickets from DEL-FRA-BOS on 2nd Sep that I am hoping to upgrade to F. Decent availability this morning (though not on my preferred dates), and this evening "ALL" LH award inventory is gone from UA. Hopefully this is just a temporary glitch that will be sorted out soon...

If anyone knows the answer to this question that will help:

If UA website does not show LH award space availability but ANA does, will it help calling UA and telling them that the space is available and book the ticket for me? Thanks.

Is there any point to calling in and checking with United, if you guys see the F seats on other *A members?

Quick update

Hi everyone,

As a few of you have noticed, we’ve temporarily removed LH award availability from united.com in order to take care of a minor maintenance issue. It mainly affects economy class, but in this case the safest and most stable approach was to remove all inventory classes for the moment. I’ll post back here when it’s back up.

Thank you Aaron. Will we still be able to book by calling UA?

I also checked ExpertFlyer and just like united.com, it shows absolutely no LH award availability. Does this confirm the rumors that I read elsewhere on FT that ExpertFlyer uses UA data for LH award availability (and for that matter all *A award availability?)

Hi ksingh0311,

Currently, the issue affects mainly economy inventory, so while it may be possible to book other inventory classes through our agent channels at the moment, I would advise holding off if you have a multi-cabin itinerary and/or non-critical need until the issue is resolved. I'll post here ASAP once it is.

Thanks Aaron for the prompt updates this morning. And kudos to you and UA for being one of the few domestics to actively participate on FT. ^
