I'm flying TK1766 and TK1765, WAW-IST r/t in June.
The aircraft is scheduled to be an A321, and on expertflyer and the TK website the seatmap shows as 3 rows of 2-2 seating. Does this mean that I will get a new A321 with AVOD and proper seats in Business? Or do they often sub them with regular 3-3 configuration aircraft.

Planning on flying YYZ-IST-CAI return in business (June 21-July 9) I thought this would be a 1-2-1 config as i read 77W somewhere, but when i got my booking i'm in row 3 so i'm guessing it's not a 1-2-1 config nor a 77W. Total flight time was 14 hrs which is ideal.
Can anyone confirm? Or perhaps recommend another airline with 1-2-1 (except Etihad/Emirates which is a 13 hr flight from YYZ)

77W every day of the week, no question about it!
TK has 2-3-2 in C, only the 77W leased from Jet Airways had 1-2-1 herringbone arrangement. Why is 1-2-1 so important to you?
1) Correct
2) Regardless of the aircraft, try to get 2 groups of 2 windows seats, one behind each other. This way the parents can better supervise the kids.

Flying 2 adults, 2 children, 1 infant in biz from IST - BKK in December.
2 questions:
1) When can I choose seats? 3 months prior?
2) What's the best seating arrangement to choose?

We'll do our best to keep them behaved. I'd feel terrible if s/o's $$$ purchase was ruined.

When we flew with our 4-yr old with TK in C IST-BKK and return, he had the time of his life, he behaved like a champ. The huge flat-bed with pillow and blanket, the large amount of movies and games available and his dedicated amenity kit did the trick, he felt like a little king for those flights. What ours did not do was to eat, so if you know your kids are fussy about their food, make sure you order in advance something they will like.

How much better is the 777-300ER than the A340-300 business class seat?
I need to fly home and can go either via BKK (scheduled to be 77W on the day) or KUL (A343), but the catch is, to get home from either of the destinations, I'd have to fly on 2 Jetstar Economy class sectors (2 and 5 hours) or from KUL one 5-hour Malaysia Airlines sector.
The above options are similar price, so is 77W J class worth the inconvenience at the end?

Personally I think the seats on TK 77w are among the best in the business, for sleeping. Especially when you look at the price. Whether I would take a 5hr long trip in order to use them, I am not sure, but only you can answer that I think. For me, I book based on price, seats and dep/arr time. I would never go out of my way to fly at an inconvinient time. So, I guess only you can answer what is most important for you.
