IST - ORD on 5.8.13
Hi All,
I just redeemed some points and will be flying from IST to ORD on TK in Business Class. As of now they are using the A330-200 on the route.
Has anyone heard if they will upgrading the equipment to the A330-300 and if so do we know when or have a time frame?

Confused about A340 or A330, which one will it be?
For my flight (IST-ICN) an A340 is scheduled (also shown in the during booking process) but during the online check-in it indicates an A330-300 and also the seatmap is of an A330 (with only 5 J rows on each side). I clearly do not mind an A330-300 due to the better seats but I now I am a bit confused about my upcoming flight (11.02)

How is TK A340 J?
Flying TK CMB-IST (with a stope in MLE I think) in a few months. I have never flown TK longhaul before. It looks like these are angled lie flats? Good enough to get some sleep? Also, I am connecting home IST-CDG on an A330, are these longhaul configured? Thanks.

2 months out and still showing a332.
Does anyone know how often TK does equip swaps? I will probably switch to another carrier if it remains on the config.

You'll never know what aircraft you'll get with TK until you're at the gate. On my most recent TK long haul from JNB-IST the flight was listed as a 332 with angled seats up until the day of departure. At the gate a 333 with full flat showed up.

Worth the risk to be stuck on old J? Never tried it, I'm not quite sure why it gets such terrible reviews but it does worries me.

I have managed to book this seat for an upcoming IST-BKK sector. Can anyone tell me if it's a good seat? It's an exit row in the middle section. Is there unlimited legroom or does the bulkhead cause restrictions?

Of course the A333 seat is the best to get and I have had it back and forth to SIN and CGK, but on the BKK route it is a bit of a risk.

I have been allocated seats 6K+J in business on my upcoming flight TK40 to CPT from IST next week.
The seat maps on Turkish Airline website show only upto row 5 as business. Is anyone familiar with the seat layout on the A330-300 planes?

Wrong seat map (A340) loaded for the A333 on this route for years now
For some reason, the A340 seat map has been loaded (for years now) even though the flight is almost always and A330-300. In my experience (3x) you will normally be moved to row 5, or the next available free pair forward, a few days before take-off.
