I would defintiely sign up again for a Clear membership. It saved me many hours of time waiting in line even as a United Elite member with access to Priority Lines. With the membership, I could reasonably estimate the amount of time to get through security which is uncertain without it. Thought it was also interesting from the article to read that they were near profitability.

I agree with you. If they will ever to be reinstates again. It will be gone back through clear lines again.

You must be joking. I afford the TSA the level of respect they deserve for making me: show ID, take off my shoes, and limit my liquids. They also randomly harass me, and maintain a stupid list of prohibited items:

This would be really great news! I just have to see if I threw my Clear Card out in disgust back when they announced that it was closed...

Question should be if the company changes ownership (does that mean the info has changed ownership as well)?

I'm sure the policy is that they can't sell your info to advertisers and other third parties.... but they can still sell the company ( and the private info on its databases to someone).

Ironically i have 5 confirmed trips before the end of the year. Would love to have this luxury back!

I wouldnt mind it back, since I went thru all that hassle getting the darn card. Lets see what happens.
