Does anyone know if you get an email notification stating your status has been changed when you are conditionally approved from pending review or do you just keep checking on the GOES website?

We had our interviews at YYZ on Tuesday in between our CDG-YYZ and YYZ-YQR flights. We arrived at the office an hour ahead of our interview (I scheduled conservatively given our travel plans that day) but they saw us within five minutes of arriving. Ten minutes, verifying informatoin on file, updating our photos, fingerprints, and retinal scans, and a brief discussion of some of the perils to avoid and we were on our way. It couldn't have been a lot easier. 90 minutes later I got an email advising the renewals were approved.

Yes, GOES will send out an email for any status change. You do not need to "keep checking" the GOES website.

I already have Nexus since 2012, and my approval took at least 2 months.

I just applied for my wife and 6 kids on Sunday, and I was pleasantly surprised that kids under 18 are free, I was ready to shell out $50 per child.

I'll keep you updated when we get approved.

Conditional approval

Followup to earlier post: initial application May 13, got notice of conditional approval for dh and myself today. Had planned to go to Boeing Field, but first available interviews there are Nov. 12! Blaine, WA, has openings daily starting tomorrow, may try to reschedule at Seattle if something shows up. Vancouver site openings are not until end of August and beginning of September.

kathmom, would you do me a small favour if you wouldn't mind. Would you please check what the earliest available times for Calgary and Sweetgrass are at the moment. Thanks.

Calgary seems to only have blocks of appts daily starting 9/29. (It says 6/10 is open at 9 am, but it doesn't show on the calendar, nothing else until end of Sept.) Sweetgrass has appts every Tu and Th starting 6/18. Glad to help.

Thank you very much for taking a look on my behalf. Looks like even if our family is approved today, we are looking at waiting over 3 months for Calgary. Guess a day trip in the middle of the week to Sweetgrass is the likely scenario for us.
