Because the rucksack is also heavy I am managing to achieve a degree of roller control by pushing down on that on top of the case, but there is a lot of lugging it around by hand which is a pain. Luckily every connection is in and out the same gate so I’m not going any distance.

In terms of replacement, Amazon next day, I guess, will take a look when I get a chance. I already have a suitcase being delivered to the Louisville hotel because I need a hold bag for all the bourbon!

Edit: Actually, the bag I already have on order will do the job for the return half of this trip so I don’t need to worry about replacing the broken bag until I get home… it can go inside the bigger case I have on order and protect the precious bourbon bottles :D

We do have a well-served airport here in Louisville so I'm curious as to why you decided to fly to Cincinnati and drive here.

22:00 exactly and on the ground at Cincinnati airport .Another uneventful flight although I did get this alert on the phone half way through the flight

Drinks service was the same as before, and I passed the four hours mostly watching the latest Alien film which was OK. I did nap for a little bit but I really am looking forward to to bed now.

Quite a boring day of pretty pedestrian flights. Hopefully things get a bit
more interesting from here on out :D
