I delete 3 out of 4 comments I write before I post because they are too critical of either the OP or some other poster.

I have never flown an RJ.

I like Southwest.

I hate when a flight is late, even a few minutes and even if I am not in a hurry and it doesn't matter.

I don't ever bother about any promotion of less than 1000 miles.

When traveling alone, I do not like to talk to my seatmates. If one starts a conversation asking where I am going, what I do for a living, where I am from, I will LIE! :-)

I have at least once committed most of the petty annoyances complained about on this website.

These would include but are not limited to oversized carry-ons, crowding the gate, standing beside the baggage carousel, grabbing the seat back, not moving my carry-on forward at security, opening/closing the window blind, hogging the armrest, collapsing in my seat, slurping my soup, tapping the IFE screen too hard, reclining my seat during dinner, snoring, farting, leaving the lav seat up, taking pictures from the window during the landing and takeoff, not yelling at seat poachers, not walking on the right side of an escalator or moving sidewalk, putting small items in the overhead bin, using a bin a few rows from my seat, being courteous with the TSA, using priority boarding to go to the front of the line and probably a few more than I've forgotten about.

My confession is that I really don't give a damn.

In my defense however I don't unspool and lose it when someone else does any of the aforementioned transgressions.

I just earned US SP yesterday.
I booked a MR in mid-January but haven't told my better half yet.
I've sat in F only 3 times in my life.
I have never volunteered or donated to any charitable endeavor.
I find schadenfreude enjoyable, although I was raised to be (and am) polite and courteous to strangers.

I pay for a domestic first class ticket (discounted) on personal travel, not because there's much benefit for the extra cost, but just out of spite to keep someone with elite status from getting a free upgrade.

Had a row in Y to myself the other day across the Atlantic so did not bother using a spare GPU to upgrade to C (and paying the 100 or so tax to use it). A row in Y is so much more comfortable than a packed C cabin with the risk of sitting next to an opinionated FTer!

- Whenever I find myself sounding like an over-entitled elite traveler, in my own mind I hear my own voice saying, "But I'm a diamond guest, and I have a giraffe."
- I often have three carry-on items (rollerboard, suit in a garment bag, briefcase); sometimes a duty-free bag becomes a fourth item. (Because I'm a diamond guest.)

I need to read FT in secret. Mrs. Milepig enjoys all the tricks I've learned here, but is still jealous when I'm caught sneaking peeks. Does this mean that FT is in the same category as internet porn and I'm addicted?

How do you reconcile being addicted to FC and Business Class with liking Ryan Air and EasyJet?

Good policy! Also applies to work emails, especially when travelling , perhaps tired and in a different timezone and you're tempted to write a brief snarky reply.

Sometime it's therapeutic just to write it all down, read it, then take a deep breath and delete.
