Where does the KVS tool get its data and is KVS authorized to provide this data in the manner it is presented?

The tool is known to access a variety of web sites, many in a manner that is not authorized. Please see the next section of this Wiki for a list of sites believed to be accessed and their data access policies (where known).

Additionally, under some conditions the tool appears to access sites via a KVS-operated back end. This means that the tool is not just a 'web browser' that runs via a user's machine. No detailed public information is available about how this works or whether any of this back-end access is authorized.

Data Source Error? "ANA"

ST and OW award searches work, *A gives me the "ANA" error.

Any think I should do?

KVS...You are right. I had received the email 08 Mar and have located it. I just didn't recognize the contents based upon the Subject message that I saw.

Probably a stupid question, but did a search and didn't find anything. Downloaded the tool today, but still waiting on ANA member card to arrive from Japan. I think I requested it about a month ago and called their US office today and dude wouldn't give it over the phone. He said it takes about 4-6 weeks to arrive.

So pretty much I'm sol until that member card comes to review Award Availibility for Star Allliance airlines?

Also, do you need a mileage balance with ANA in order to use the tool?

Asking for ORD-PVG on Mar 19 - fliter on for Non Stop
Get a lot of flights displayed BUT not ORD-PVG

AA 289 is currently Y1 -- it was probably Y0 at the time of your original request and your [Limit] setting was set to 10. Therefore, other flights (that had availability) were taking priority over the Y0 flight:

Undertstand, but why would it list going to cities that have nothing to do with PVG. Was it just listing cities where you have another airline that goes to PVG?

A recent change in the GTC engine data was causing the flight connection indicators to be missing. The issue has now been resolved in V6.1.1, which is available for immediate download.
