VPN is one workaround (IME also influences whether your Google searches happen on the US site or local version)
So no way to permanently address this? VPN is indeed one workaround, but it also seems to use geolocation from the phone to determine the departure city. It's annoying when I'm abroad and it doesn't automatically use my home airport.

Is there a way to force GF to only show the lowest prices if booked through the airline instead of the usually-lower OTA prices? Thanks

When I look at the date grid I see one price but then when selecting that date it re-prices. Any idea what the problem is and potentially how to find that lower price.

I've seen that a lot lately when searching airfares to PVG. So annoying!

I've been looking at a multi-city trip, and I don't have a preference which city I visit first. I'm trying to determine the price differences based on the order and how much it costs to buy up to business, but I keep getting "Unfortunately, the price you saw on the previous page has changed" when I select any flights. Very frustrating...

Is there a way to remove basic economy from google flight searches? I see no such options.

You can change the filters to say 1 carry-on bag, but unfortunately that only works to exclude BE for certain airlines.

Airlines whose BE fares exclude a free carry-on UA is one definite example, but there are probably others.

aside: is there no longer a "share" link for Google Flights?

anyway one random sample, do a one-way search for SFO-LAS on Sep 3rd and select UA in the airline filter. The lowest fare currently is $69 but has the "no bag" symbol next to it. If you click on that it prices out as BE. Go back and click on the bag filter and say 1 carry-on and the lowest fare goes up to $99 in normal Economy.

This won't work for, e.g. DL, where you can still have a carry-on with BE.

Ah, I see, it only shows up when you have specific flight(s) picked, not for the overall results of a search. I think I knew this and had just forgotten about it

Yep, Ive also been frustrated looking for that. The URL is specific to the search parameters though, so you can copy and share that as a workaround.

Has anyone had problem with Google Flights no longer sending email notifications on flight price changes?
I'm having that problem right now. No more emails since a flight I started monitoring back in start of November. The price trackings after that date haven't sent any email notification but have been updated in Google Flights site.

Oh and should note that this is using personal google account and the email notifications have gone straight to gmail.

My emails come once to twice a day. I will say I check the site a lot - not sure if that gets it to email more, that said.
